[ One morning, as your character steps out of their home, they are greeted by an owl messenger, bearing a letter. The letter tells them that they have been selected to participate in a gift exchange, and they are to deliver a gift to Galo Thymos by the end of the month. The letter says nothing more, and once the letter is read, the owl will fly away. ]

[On Winter Crest Grog will find a couple of cases of ale tied with blue and gold ribbon and a note from Percy propped on it

Merry Winter Crest my friend enjoy this ale all winter long.

[ Not going to lie, Essek had a difficult time with Grog because most of what he designed, he did not feel that Grog would appreciate, however he did have a pattern and some warm winter fur from Clothilda's. So in the purple box tied with a silver ribbon was a warm bear hat, it was very cute and honestly Essek hoped that Grog liked it. No note is included since he knows that Grog cannot read well, instead there are paw prints. ]

[One morning, in the midst of all the holiday cheer, Grog will receive two cases of glass bottles at his door. Each contains a different mead, ale, or beer. Each is laced with some flower or another. It’s definitely a more frilly experience than the Goliath is probably used to, but Meryl hopes he’ll appreciate it all the same.]

[ Grog will find a box delivered that morning, and written with a simple tag. ]

[ Instead of writing her name, though, Willow had drawn a simple doodle of herself, hoping that would be more recognizable than if she wrote her name.

Inside the box is a dried flower crown, with the flowers remaining strong despite being dried, and don't crumble no matter how roughed up they might get. There's also a drawing inside in the same bubbly style of both Grog and Willow wearing flower crowns together. ]

[This secret gift for Grog does not arrive on the 25th ~~because what's a Christmas??~~ but at some point during the end of the month, a medium sized dog with a fuzzy white coat will trot his way up to the main entrance of the castle where he resides. Since he's in animal form, he doesn't bother being stealthy--this is a normal way to deliver a gift in broad daylight without being too intrusive, probably. He's fashioned a carrying pack out of a wooden caddy, tied onto his back with rope; and into which he's put a large bottle of stout ale, a package of walnuts, and a package of hazelnuts. This type of alcohol he had to try himself--it wasn't his favorite thing, but he thinks this one has a good flavor as much as he can tell. The nuts he's more certain are of an excellent quality and chosen to pair well with the alcohol.]

[He sits himself at the entance, pulls the rope out of its knot to release the caddy from his back and eases it onto the ground. After the nudging with his nose, he gets it situated where he wants it--where it looks the most presentable maybe?? He's not sure. He's never delivered a gift by ~~as a~~ dog before. The whole idea of being assigned a stranger to gift something is weird enough on its own, but if that's the custom here then he's trying to be a good citizen.]

[With the gift placed, he turns next to the door and scratches at it for a moment. Not sure how else to get someone's attention, he just... leaves it there? This is fine. He's normal.]
